be held on the north shore of the beautiful
Lake Casitas Recreational
Area.
( If you've ever been to the Ojai Wine Festival,
it's the same
spot. )

The Lake
Casitas Recreational Area
...Is 15 miles inland of Ventura, California. It is
approximately an hour's drive south of Santa Barbara.
Using the 405 and 101 freeways, It is 80 miles or 1.5 hours north of
Los Angeles International Airport.

From
the 101 freeway,
exit north
onto state route 33.
|
Five miles north of the intersection with
the 101 freeway, (at the Foster Park exit) the speed limit
drops to 35 and it changes from four lanes to two. North
Ventura Avenue merges with 33 at this point, and from there, street
signs show it variously as North Ventura Avenue and 33. |

You can proceed
north on
33
to
Baldwin Road
and turn left, or

The Scenic Route...
Exit 33
as it narrows to two lanes at Casitas Vista Road.
Loop around to the right, proceed under the freeway, over the dry
Ventura River bed, and turn right onto Casitas Vista Road.

A short distance beyond, turn right again onto Santa Ana
Road, over
the bridge, toward the Casitas Lake entrance.
Lake Casitas Recreational Area will be visible on your left as you
drive ten miles north.
Visitors from Santa Barbara can take a scenic route of their own by
exiting the 101 Freeway at the CA150-Ojai exit. |

A 15-mile drive
east through the farms and orange groves along Casitas Pass Road
will take you to the intersection of Baldwin and Santa Ana Road.
Follow Santa Ana south past the park entrance for a mile. The road
will curve left at the lake shore. The event entrance is a half
mile past the curve.
